Pottery Workshop - Make a Sparkling Hanging Planter

Create a cute and timeless planter using a unique New Mexico clay with natural glitter!

Get ready to get your hands just a little messy. In this class we will be using very unique white mica clay to create a rustic palm-sized hanging planter. This class is beginner friendly and a great intro to getting started with pottery.

After class, your lovely planters will be dried, then kiln fired in our partner Atomic Acres' local studio and brought back to our store for pick up within two weeks of the class date. 

About the clay: white mica clay is a distinctive clay found near Taos, New Mexico, and what makes it so cool is that when it is fired in the kiln the bits of mica within in the clay turn gold. So, when it comes out of the kiln, your piece will be filled will flecks of natural golden glitter.
